“I have been working with Lizzie as my PT through the lockdown using Zoom. I do online Pilates classes but I have found the PT sessions a very different way to exercise and they have benefited me in a different way to the Pilates classes. Lizzie and I talked about what I wanted to achieve from my workouts and initially I felt that I just wanted to keep as mobile as possible during lockdown, but I have achieved much more. I am stronger and more flexible and my balance has definitely improved. As we go from week to week Lizzie pushes me a little further to achieve more and is always quick to praise which is very motivating, this personal and tailored approach to exercise has been so beneficial to me. I have had a hip replacement recently and Lizzie has been able to see what I can and cannot do as far as my flexibility is concerned and she has incorporated exercises to help me in my recovery. Lizzie changes and develops the exercises so there is no time to get bored or complacent. After the lockdown is over I am going to continue with Lizzie as my PT, I don’t live in London so we will keep going with the Zoom meetings. I enjoy the fact that I can exercise in my own home with minimal equipment and it means I can continue to exercise any time I like using the exercises that Lizzie has shown me”

“I started PT with Lizzie after realising my very expensive wedding dress didn’t fit. I’ve never been a gym person AT ALL. I like pie. The day of my first session, I paced around the office and nearly cancelled a hundred times. I am so glad I didn’t. Not only did Lizzie get me into the dress (size ~20 down to size 16), she taught me that the gym doesn’t mean torture - it means ‘me time’, it means fun, and it means feeling strong and capable and connected to yourself. Having never, ever dreamed of going in the weights section or rocking up at a class, 18 months later I still have no problem nicking the weights off the muscly guy hogging them or trying a new class and giving it a go. I’ve done things I never imagined I would - including a London to Cambridge cycle.

“Zoom sessions with Lizzie have made exercising in your own home possible , fun and beneficial. Lizzie is very patient with us older clients and adapts exercises accordingly. Lizzie has always pre prepared our session and each week is different and more challenging.
In spite of the sessions being done remotely they still feel personal. I have enjoyed exercising at home, improvising with weights and equipment.
