Tips for Accelerated fat loss!
Firstly, thank you for checking this out, this is here to help and educate you on how to kick start your weight loss as your perhaps feeling a little heavy after all the Christmas and New year Celebrations. There can be lots of confusing information out there in regards to what’s best. My clients are all educated on their nutrition to help them reach their goals, wether that be weight loss, to maintenance to muscle gain. It’s no surprise that nutrition plays a key part in helping us reach our goals.
This is broad information not tailored to any individual. Now each person does require a different nutritional approach due to their own needs so please do keep that in mind…this is general.
EAT FAT TO LOSE FAT - assuming sufficient fat is consumed, the body will more readily burn our fat stores. Its especially important for us females and our hormonal health
REDUCE CARBOHYDRATES TO CONTROL INSULIN AND PROMOTE FAT BURNING - reduce, do not omit. as mentioned this a kick start to weight loss. It helps to reduce them slightly to help reduce the water retention.
REDUCE CARBOHYDRATES TO PREVENT UNNECESSARY FAT STORAGE - again, just reduce initially. Our brain needs carbs, that is the only nutrient that provides it with energy.
CONSUME SUFFICIENT PROTEIN TO PRESERVE MUSCLE MASS AND PROMOTE OPTIMAL RECOVERY FOLLOWING RESISTANCE TRAINING - protein goals should be worked out by lean body mass.
CONSUME PLENTY OF VEGETABLES AND CERTAIN FRUITS AS WELL AS DRINK PLENTY OF WATER TO CREATE AN OPTIMAL ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL CHEMICAL REACTIONS TO BOOST METABOLISM - as well as fill you up with less calories dense foods!
COMPLETE WEEKLY RESISTANCE TRAINING AND CARDIO TO HELP CREATE A CALORIE DEFECIT.
So, as I mentioned. These are VERY simple, non specific and can help KICK start your eating habits when looking to lose weight.
